GOSPEL HARMONY

The focus of the course is on the basic harmonic materials of this style, including Plagal Cadences, Added Note Chords, Chord Fills, and Bass Lines, as well as Rhythmic Feels. I have also included 2 of my compositions in a Gospel style, “Home is a River” and “Dad’s Dream”, and a complete piano arrangement of the all-time Gospel favorite – “Amazing Grace”, mixing Jazz Harmony with Gospel chords.
